JOB DESCRIPTIONJob DescriptionAs the Varian Developer Community Manager you will wear many hats in the Varian Developer community . This role requires a passionate and hardworking person to help drive our engagement with the Varian Developer community in a number of ways, including:- evangelizing Varian Developer technology- external messaging on certain key technologies- organizing developer events- organizing, hosting, creating webinars and other training content- engaging on Q/A message boards- helping answer questions through paid tickets You will be product owner for much of Varian's externally facing APIs and developer technologies and will manage backlogs and engage with development teams to drive those forward. You will be responsible for the success of the emerging Varian Innovation Center, a portal where Varian engineering, Varian customers, and 3rd party developers can collaborate and program with Varian APIs. Skills required* Deep knowledge of APIs and how they can be used to drive and grow Varian's software business.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. You will be continuously interacting with Varian engineering teams, Varian customers, 3rd party developers, and Varian leadership. You will deliver several webinars and customer facing speeches every year.* Product management skills needed.* Knowledge of software development and delivery processes. Prefer candidates with Agile development knowledge and experience. Background* technical / engineering, MS preferred* healthcare experience desired, preferably Radiotherapy* knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards like DICOM, HL7, FHIR* knowledge of cloud technologies : Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Travel10-25% domestic and internationally.
